Ausafe Terms & Conditions
- Ausafe removals will not entertain any complaints once the driver has left the premises either at the pickup or drop-off locations.
- Fragile and loose stuff: Ausafe removals hold no responsibility for glass items, loose items, and any boxes or items packed by the customer himself/herself.
- We don’t install any white goods like washing machine, dryers or TV on wall brackets (If asked to do so we don’t provide any guarantee in case of damage)
- Ausafe Removals hold no responsibility for internal damages to electronic items like TV, fridge etc. We are only responsible for physical damage(No guarantee for TV if it’s not in its original packing).
- Our insurance is not new for old, means we provide market value if the item is damaged by us, not brand new value of the item or sentimental value of the item.
- For any claims, excess fee of $600 has to be paid by customer first.
- Any parking ticket issued while moving, has to be paid by customer.
- We don’t provide any damage guarantee for IKEA furniture.
- If customer is not on site while moving, no damage claims will be accepted either to goods or property.
- Full payments needs to be made before movers start unloading the truck (any difference in the hours and payment will be fixed once job completed).
- Ausafe Removals has the right to hold customer’s belongings in the truck until full payment is made.
- Ausafe Removals charge in 30 mins increments, for example: if the move takes 2 hours and 45 minutes to complete, it will be a charge of 3 hours of working plus call outs and extras.
- Our (Ausafe Removals) time starts when we arrive at the pick up location, so in case we arrive later than the expected time, Ausafe removals will not compensate for waiting period of the customer due to the nature of the business.
- TVs should be in their original packing box. If not then we can still transport it with best possible way, however it wouldn’t cover any insurance.
- If there’s any item weighs over 80kg, there will be a heavy lift charge on that.
- Everything that can fit in a box, should be in a box.
- Minor Starches will not be covered under insurance. Bubble wrap all the items to avoid damages to your furniture and house floor and walls.
- Deposits are non- refundable, but we can change the booking date if needed as long as it’s requested before 48 hours of the move.
- Booking can be rescheduled one time only, second time reschedule of the booking will result in deposit being lost and you will have to pay deposit again.
- Afternoon booking slots have estimated arrival time only. Actual arrival time depends on what time we finish the morning job that day.
- If customer refuses to sign the customer job sheet, no claims will be valid.
